I’m really excited about the Get Started page. As you know, financial literacy is my passion, especially when it comes to children. Unfortunately, teaching kids about money isn’t a top priority for most parents as many of us grew up in homes where money was a taboo topic. The good news is more and more parents are embracing the need for financial literacy, but they don’t know where to begin. So I put together a roadmap to help you raise financially confident kids. And you might just learn a few new things as well!
Starting next week, I’m also going to start blogging on Wednesdays. Therefore, I will also begin accepting guest posts as well. I will post contributing guidelines soon, but I imagine they will be similar to what you have seen elsewhere. Topics must be well-written, focused on children and money or financial literacy and priority will always be given to those who regularly comment on The Heavy Purse or connect with me via social media.
