Tips for Back to School Shopping

spiral notebook and pens
School starts in a couple of weeks for Lauren and Taylor, and we’ve been busy restocking school supplies and buying new clothes. Previously, like most mothers, I used to go to the store, fill my cart and pull out my credit card,. This year I did things a bit differently and created a back-to-school budget. It made a huge difference. I saved money, and the girls flexed their decision-making muscles as they determined what was a need and a desire.

I’ll be posting short videos with tips on how you can save money during your back-to-school shopping on The Heavy Purse blog and The Heavy Purse facebook page.

Stay tuned—the first tip arrives on Wednesday.
