We’re just days away from Christmas and the Ryan household is full of anticipation. š I’m sure it is the same way in your home as well. I plan to take some time off to enjoy the holidays with my family and possible sneak in a little R&R too. Of course, between Christmas, New Years and Taylor’s birthday, I’m not sure if that’s possible!
But no complaints from me, I love the season and being surrounded by my loved ones. It’s my hope that you are able to be with loved ones this holiday season too and that Santa Claus treats you well. After all, if you’re reading The Heavy Purse and teaching your kids about money, then you certainly made The Nice List! š
Many of us stress out this time of year because we put so much pressure on ourselves to create a magical Christmas for our loved ones, including giving spectacular gifts. But as Mother Teresa so aptly said, it’s the amount of love in those gifts that really matter.
I’m packing a lot of love into my gifts and hope you are too! I’m taking the remainder of the year off from blogging to spend time with my family, but I’ll be back in 2015 with lots of great new posts and tips to help you raise financially confident kids.
May every gift given and received this Christmas be filled with love,
