It’s been a hot week in LA, but it’s finally starting to cool down a bit. And not a moment too soon! Many of my fellow bloggers are in New Orleans right now for FinCon 2014. I wasn’t able to attend this year unfortunately, but hopefully I’ll get to one eventually! From the tweets I’ve seen, they are having a blast too. š
On Monday, I shared 5 Steps to Help You Regain Your Money Balance. It’s very easy to give money your power, especially when you have debt. But it doesn’t need to be that way and it begins by no longer comparing yourself to others. I reviewed Train Your Way to Financial Fitness from my good friend, Shannon from Financially Blonde on Wednesday. A great book for those ready to workout and get financially fit.
Special thanks to The Finance Girl, Financially Blonde, More Than Just Money for sharing my posts.
These are my favorite posts from the best week. Enjoy!
Tonya from Budget and The Beach shared the Sacrifices to Be Financially Sound that she’s making right now. In a perfect world, we would never need to make sacrifices. But in our imperfect world, we often need to and it’s important that we know what our priorities are.
Natalie aka The Finance Girl reminded us of the importance of Due Diligence and Your Money. Unfortunately there are plenty of unscrupulous people who will take advantage of you. Natalie outlines some important steps to help you avoid being scammed.
Kayla from Shoeaholic No More shared good news in Furniture Loan Paid Off. Congrats, Kayla! Even better than paying off the loan, is the fact that Kayla is looking at money in a whole new light, which is key to long-term success.
Hayley from Disease Called Debt reminded us that Time Won’t Wait. We’re all guilty of putting things until tomorrow, but as Hayley noted, we may regret that delay a year from now. Getting started is often the hardest part to any journey, but you have to start in order to reach your final destination.
And to end on a fun note, Natalie from Debt and The Girl put together a fun GIF Parade: Life is an Adventure Edition. I think we can all relate to few, if not all, of them. š
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!
