We just returned from our Disney Cruise and had an amazing time. As I’ve mentioned previously, we set annual family save goals, typically a family vacation since we love to travel. I’ll share a few more details about the trip and how to set up your own family goal on Friday’s post.
I’d like to thank Sicorra from Tackling Our Debt, Kerry from Breadwinning Mama and Tanya from Eat Laugh Purr/The Heavy Purse for guest posting in my absence. It was great to take a couple weeks off to be with my family and know that The Heavy Purse was in excellent hands. If you didn’t get a chance to check out their posts, please take a moment to do so. They all shared some fabulous insight.
Sicorra posed the question, At What Age Should Your Teen Get a Job? She shared some benefits of teens working and possible jobs for them as well.
Kerry shared how she takes advantage of a captive audience in Riding in Cars with Boys: Money Edition to talk about money. Much like I do, she weaves these important conversations and lessons into every day activities and conversations.
Tanya shared how she losing her job helped her reign in her spending in Confessions of a Reformed Mindless Spender. These days she spends joyfully because if it doesn’t pass her “love” test, she doesn’t buy it.
We had a fabulous trip, but now I need to get caught up both here and in my financial planning practice. But the trip was worth it! 🙂 Be sure to come back on Friday to learn more about our vacation and how we set our family save goals.
Ciao!

I totally want to take my kids on a Disney Cruise when they are old enough. I hope you will write a review!!
Have a great day!
I can't wait to read about how you made it happen.
