These days people want passion and career to mesh and ultimately turn into their dream job with excellent earning capabilities. This is the American Dream, after all. What constitutes as someone’s passion and an excellent earning is, of course, personal and subjective, but most people tend to think traditional jobs when they think of high-paying professions. However, that is not always the case. Doctors, lawyers and IT gurus don’t own the market when it comes to earning mucho dinero, which is a good thing for those of us who don’t want to spend years in school or learn how to code.
JobTitles.net put together a fun infographic highlighting 25 high-paying and unusual jobs. Some of them are more side hustles or part-time gigs, like being a human scarecrow or statue, to full-time jobs as a submarine cook or pearl diver. Take a look and see how these jobs compare to your own.
While I plan to stick to being a Certified Financial Planner, I did find this fascinating. Living in LA, there are lots of people who make some side income (and even a full-time living) dressing up as famous Hollywood characters or legends and getting their picture taken with tourists. Great proof that a little creativity (and passion) can help you earn a good living outside of a traditional 9-5 job.
Which job would you want? Or not want?
